Should I buy a domain, get hosting setup and be ready to create the store before I contact the supplier that I am planning to use or contact the supplier first and tell them about my future site and then do the rest?

If I buy the domain, etc first, then I will have to pay and what if my supplier then rejects my offer to be my drop-shipping supplier with their products!

When you first get an idea about an online anything. The first thing you should do is secure the domain with a reputable registrar. With domains only costing 10 bucks a years or less no a days, there’s no reason to start there.

You can always secure hosting and suppliers later, but once someone else sits on your domain, it may be gone forever.

I would first secure the domain, then secure the deal with the supplier. Then shop around for hosting after you reach a deal with the drop shipper. Remember the domain and host are separate, and you don’t need to get hosting along with a domain at first.

Contact your supplier first because they probably don’t care about how you sell the product.

Start reading this blog and any other information you can find about selling Online! The more you know before you begin the easier it will be for you.

Start with reading articles, asking questions and looking at what has worked well for others.

        In a nut shell …

You will want to plan your business, find products, buy a domain, setup hosting, build a site, have a cart, get a way to accept payments and some kind of marketing plan.

In that order! Good luck. Contact us if you need specific help.

I would register a domain first. You want to make sure you can get a good one first. You can get one for like $6 at
