  • Steve D says:

All free hosting sites have ads - that’s how they are able to pay for the service. You can then pay to have the ads removed, but you would then be better off just getting your own domain and web hosting company.

This site isn’t free, but is very affordable and you control the content - no ads!

Sometimes your internet service provider or cable provider offers a starter service that doesn’t have ads. Both my ISP and my cable provider do; it’s included in what I already pay them for internet access and my TV.

Other than that, as a previous answer notes, if you don’t pay (that is, you want a free site), then they’ll get their money another way, through ads. But there are plenty of services out there that only cost about $5 a month with no ads. If you’re making a business web page, you ought to be able to afford $5 a month.

Check into hosting your webpage at homestead.com which charges around $10 per month and has credit card and shopping cart options.

    Good luck!
